Is this possible? I can stand my [watch your mouth!] drink holder because I can shift comfortably... plus the thing isn't deep enough to hold any drink upright so I wanna get the new console just for that side cup holder.. any suggestions?

That's a pretty narly gap when it's installed. I think I'm just going to ghetto-rig something to make the cup holder actually work... thanks for the input though
if you cut up an old floor mat and do some ghetto apulstering (SP?) the gap looks really nice IMO
