  • i got a big problem with my car

every since i ran my car into some deep water and it died on me it has really been running horrible... the ses light just came on today and i don't know why but when you give it gas it's like it don't want to go anywhere.. it's like your pushing the break in a little while your flooring it... and it's really bad between 2k to 3k rpm's and when you get above the 3k mark it seem's to get up and go but not all that great really... does anybody have this problem or know of why it's doing it.. i just put fuel injector cleaner in it and it seem's to be running a little better but still i don't know what's going on... i need help.. can somebody please help me out here

how long ago did you go into the water?
you might wanna let everything dry for a while.

Since friday night... my dad and a few people told me to just drive it around and the heat should dry it up... but it's making me mad but it seem's to be getting better with in time... then somebody said the timing might have messed up from the motor coming to a dead stop but i don't know and i think that's kind of silly... but i just hope there's just a little more water or something it's really upsetting... i hurt my baby and now im paying for it :(

Get the trouble codes read. You can do it with a scanner or do it at Autozone. That will be your biggest clue. Some components of the engine that are electrical will not respond well to water.
        Hope to help,
        Jim
