  • Tune up time!

I'm needing to tune up my 93 3.4. I'd imagine it's been about 2 years since it's had a major tune up. (I've only had it for 6 months.) I plan on doing these things:
    Seafoam
    Change oil, tranny fluid, coolant
    New wires
    New coil packs
    Fuel Filter
    Radiator flush
    New tranny filter and gasket
    New spark plugs

This is about all I can think of for now. I know I'm missing a good bit. Anyone care to help me complete my list of things to do as well as recommended brands, types, etc? For example, a performance coil pack? I need to do anything possible. The car is old and I almost regularly drive it pretty hard. Help, anyone? Thanks a lot!

Definately add the air filter to your list of things to check. Also, while you're under the car bring a grease gun and hit all nipples possible including; outer tie rods, upper & lower ball joints, universal joints.

Some brands I would go with:

    Plugs: AC Delco or NGK
    Coil Packs: Accel
Oil Filter: Anything with a good name, other than FRAM.

Also, while you're under there, take a look at your brake pads, make sure they still habve lots of meat on em. Thats always a good idea!
