  • Question about inspection

    im throwing a code p1870 "transmission component slipping"

    ive had the code for like 8 month and it still shift right so i dunno what the deal is....anyways... will this cause me to fail a state inspection? Ive heard that you cant have any codes being thrown... ive already cleared it off 3 times and it comes back within a few days....

    they will look at the dash see the code and fail you right then and there

      get it cleared right before inspection, might work.

      or just ask another inspection shop before going to the one you go to
