I am going to be doing the oil pan gasket on my car (3.4). I know this is going to be a very long project. I just wanted to know what is the easiest way to do this. I looked for a write up but i cant find one is there one?

shouldn't take that long either. should be enough to raise engine to clear k-mbr to get to bolts.1978 Formula 461 in progress of being built :rock:

jack it up...and put a floor jack under the engine in a spot you can put pressure and unbolt the motor mounts...lift the engine till you have enough clearance and go to townComment

Yes please Kristen. My brother jacked my car up on my oilpan, so I've got to replace it:(. That's the last time I let him jack it up while I run and grab the oil. I've got one here, but thought it would be like a 10hr process to change it, so I haven't done it yet. A write up will be very nice~97 3.8L V6 Camaro~
