I am going to be doing the oil pan gasket on my car (3.4). I know this is going to be a very long project. I just wanted to know what is the easiest way to do this. I looked for a write up but i cant find one is there one?

should be some threads in gen tech forum.

shouldn't take that long either. should be enough to raise engine to clear k-mbr to get to bolts.

jack it up...and put a floor jack under the engine in a spot you can put pressure and unbolt the motor mounts...lift the engine till you have enough clearance and go to town

10 hour job? Jeez... I'm pretty sure I could pull the motor, change the pan, and have it back together & running in 10 hours.

maybe the 10 hrs includes bending you over, and taking his time due to lack of lube? and no courtisey reach-a-round

Would you write up a "HOW TO"? Just add it to the "SUBMISSIONS" forum.

Yes please Kristen. My brother jacked my car up on my oilpan, so I've got to replace it:(. That's the last time I let him jack it up while I run and grab the oil. I've got one here, but thought it would be like a 10hr process to change it, so I haven't done it yet. A write up will be very nice
