  • Changing fuel filter...

Did it the other day, took about 20 mins. Should have done it long ago. At first I thought it was just me thinking things, but it really did give a slightly better throttle response. Hadn't been changed since factory, 92,000 miles on one fuel filter. Needless to say, it was black as hell inside the old filter. Then half a can of Seafoam in the gas tank, the other half in the oil. Didn't really know how to do the whole vaccuum line thing (didn't feel comfortable) so I didn't bother with all that jazz. Good little tune up though! Highly recommended.

Yea dont wat so long on doing simple tuneup parts man even if you have to take it somewhere to hav it done. Regular maintenance means longevity in your car. I change my fuel filter about once every year just to make aure I keep my fuel clean. I am now getting ready to buy a ZZP fuel filter which is supposed to be better than one you can get at a local parts stoer.

          WOW! You slackers!!! :spank:

Get that Seafoam in that vacuum line. Easier than changing filter! You will notice much much more! And youll have fun setting off the smoke cloud!

I changed my fuel filter at 95,000 miles but I feel I could have left the original on and been fine.
