I got home from work today, and my car was fine. It sat for about 2 hours, and then i had to go run some errands. I start the car up, and it's idling roughly. Like muscle-car rough, sounded like a '60s muscle car. I was like "WTF?" i turned the car off and on again, and it did the same thing. so i popped the hood, and a small hose was off the throttle body. it's on the passenger side of the TB, a small black hose. don't know what it's for, assuming EGR or something like that. I put the hose back on, started it up, and bingo, it runs fine. I'd like to know how the hell it came off though, underneath the hood.

Is it the hard plastic line going to a rubber boot then into the manifold? If it is, your talking about the vacume line(haven't looked into what it's for). Came back from Arkansas last year and when I was stopped at a light I was scared I wouldn't make it home. Idled like Cr-p. Stopped at a gas station and found the hose off put it on and it was ok. I put a zip tye around it to make sure it wouldn't come off again.98 bird <br />160,000 miles<br />13\'s? Just happy it\'s starts every morning. <br /><br />Traded in @164,000 On a 2001 Formula

Man!!!
I thought I was the only one that happened to.
Same deal....just riding along...minding my own business, and all of a sudden the car is shakin' like I slung a rod. Found the hose...stuck it back on secured it with a zip tie and it never happened again. I'll reiterate...it coulda been worse...much worse. Just secure that vac. line and it won't be a problem again.\"this isn\'t flying...its falling...with style!\"<br /> -Buzz Lightyear<br /><br /><br /> 96 bright red firebird, T-tops, monsoon CD Flowmaster catback dual exhaust <br /><br /> <a href=\"http://members.cardomain.com/joyfellowship1\" target=\"_blank\">http://members.cardomain.com/joyfellowship1</a> <br /> <a href=\"http://www.joyfellowshipchurch.com\" target=\"_blank\">www.joyfellowshipchurch.com</a>
