• SOMEONE please help

I have only had the car 2 weeks and I got it from a dealer 300miles away.now I am lost!It is a v6 3.8 88000miles Firebird.
I have a problem and 3 different dealers are giving me different things to fix.
One said it was a Leakey intake manifold, the other said it was a Leakey main seal and the third said it was lower intake manifold and a main seal ????
Which do I believe??????????
I have a link to a photo of the spot were the coolant is leaking it is bright orange so it is coolant.
What is it and what should I expect to pay and how in the HELL do you find someone you can trust to work on your car if you know nothing!!
I am a idiot PLEASE HELP!! http://www.fototime.com/294E33BB9095844/orig.jpg

I had a leak from that exact same spot and it was the timing chain gasket...but right in front of that is the water pump (have you checked that?) is it leaking a lot of coolant or just a little bit?

But at first i could only smell the coolant ..But now I can see it.
Seams to be just a few drops ....But as i said just over the last 2 day it has went from a smell to seeing the drops....So I guess it is getting worse??!!

If you check your water pump (check the diagram of the serpentine belt under the hood) there is a little hole...this hole will leak small amounts of coolant when your water pump goes bad...check to see if theres any coolant residue under that hole.

damn, same leak as yours. One mechanic said it was the water pump, the other just a leaky intake manifold, I dunno what to do either. I am not sure if I should go ahead and get an aftermarket water pump for that. I hope you fix your problem soon.

from my experience..you better hope its the water pump...thats not to hard to change out...my timing chain gasket costed 500 bux cause they had to take out the engine oil pan etc...and Graham you say the coolis orange...that is definiatly bad :( orange coolant means that you have rust in the coolant system (same thing i did ) anyway after you get the problem fixed make sure you give the cooling system a real good flush.
