    Re: Blown motor

I said between $300 and $400 for me to do it (labor only), why did you say $800? It's good that you don't need it right away, my shop won't be ready until another week or so. We just bought a bunch of new machines, and they are dissasembled and spread all over the shop...

        So do I ;).

I just don't have a lot of overhead. My friend actually owns the shop, and I am a night manager for the production parts, and do stuff for the cars on the side. This means it's all labor and parts that I have to pay for, no rent, and we have only his son and another guy working there (they only do production, no custom).

And of course, you will get a warranty on the labor, but if you are buying a used engine so I can't waranty that. Also I wouldn't mind if you were there giving me a hand, you can learn something while you are there.

It's your car, and your decision, just offering my services to another fbod owner :)

BTW: What's wrong with the old motor, and what are you going to do with it when you get the new one?

How about a quote on a SC or TC for a 2000 Bird? Cheap setup!

What kind of pricing on what kind of mileage motors were you getting from tacreationsusa.com?

looks like they don't list pricing on the page like the used too...
