  • replaceing water pump

noticed the water pump was leaking out of the hole that indicates its going bad. so the question is when i go to swap this out tomarrow, what else has to come off? it looked like if i removed the air intake then i should just be able to remove the water pump pulley, then the pump itself. am i not seeing something else? thaks for any help in advance, forrest

im not sure if thats all you have to do, but...
what are you replacing it with? you should look into an electric water pump

take belt off using the tensioner, then it is just a couple bolts to take the pump off. Really easy on our cars

yea i did mine last month. pretty easy, just be prepared a decent amount of coolant will come out. also it will be easier if u take off the 4 bolts holding the w/p puller on when the belt is still on. then u really dont have to use the tensioner to get the belt off
