  • problem with accel

was driving the other day, and notice some significant power failure near higher rpms and when i change gears. like in first gear as i climb to about 4500 i feel a loss of power like hitting the red line it kinda stops and as soon as i change into second it drops like the red line thing again but if i let go and press the pedal it picks back up, i "had" a problem with down shifting to second alot was wondering if i ****ed up the gear or i have no idea :(

That actually happened to me about 2 weeks ago. The mechanic said it was a trans-flare. Go get it checked out when you go for an oil change or something.
