About 167k miles, bought her about 1000 miles ago. Thinking its never been replaced... Glad I did it just as a routine tune-up. :)

            I know, great huh?

I know the previous owner, she's actually my sister-in-law. The car saw just about all those miles on the highway. Her father is a mechanic at a dealership so there's a bonus.

I know the oil was changed regularly, I'm sure with low grade oil and the cheapest walmart filter possible though. Also I know she would choose the cheapest gas as well. Hardly anything at all came out from seafoaming the oil, gas, and vaccuum.

Transmission was just rebuilt a few thousand miles ago, out of that I know the reason was 3rd gear. So yeah, it seems like although it was mostly highway miles, she cheaped out where she could and certainly liked to punch it around corners and on the on-ramps.

Hoping in less than a year to have a spare shortblock to just rebuild in the garage, then one weekend swap. If I was made of money a different swap would be great. But I'm just thinking a shortblock buildup in the garage, pick a nice cam, find some heads. Just put my mind at ease that it's as stout as factory then maybe do a little spray on top of it.

well a bare engine build certainly isnt a bad idea.

Can't be too much different in basic engine building then the 2.5 'iron duke' I rebuilt.
