Well, I went to Discount Tire today to get a new tire cause of a blow out on my '96 Firebird. Well, after they put on the new tire and went to back the car out of the garage... the car died after a few seconds. Well I checked fuel pressure and everything seemed fine. So I disconnected the MAF sensor and replugged it in. Then it started and stayed running but with a 3K idle. I tried resetting the computer but with no luck and I even replaced the MAF sensor with a new one and still have the high idle. I cleaned the TPS and IAC sensors. But it still idles very high. I hear no vaccuum leak, so what could be the problem?
Edit: BTW, if I disconnect the MAF sensor, it idles alot better, but it sputters a little bit.
