Will the Meizure pump fit a 96 bird without too much hassle?

I wouldn't run one unless you're going pretty hardcore with the car. EWP's are not very street friendly.

they are just fine on the street. Lots of people run them on the street. They last just as long as any regular waterpump.

What are you hearing that makes you say this? I haven't heard of anything

I got my meizure from Jegs. ZZP is the last place to go if you need something. I made brackets so it just runs the alternator im sure it got some hp from that

If I need something zzp is one of the first places to go, they are one of the few companies that support the 3.8. Thanks to them and intense a lot of the fast 3.8l cars are where they are today.

No need to bash them like that, but giving your reason for not going to zzp would be better though, so we know where you are coming from

I was pretty sure the "street" pumps have a life expectancy of 2000 hours. Most street cars will see that in 3 years or less. I've yet to see a factory pump fail that quick.

ZZP sells stuff they dont even have. i had a customer wait over a year for software for his lap top to run his f body race car. They didnt even have files to make it. lots of phone calls and e-mails later. just get tired of companys like this. I build the whole car for the customer and we wait for this. After I got it i just gave it to the customer, i said i can charge you for waiting that long. my $400 dollar lost yes, but keeping a good customer its worth it to me. ZZP lost my account, they need to be more on top of things.

taken from ZZP on the Meizure Electric Water Pump:

Suitable for street use - 2500 hour life expectancy (about 100k miles of typical driving)
