Re: window motors
About five years ago I had to replace mine and I downloaded instructions from one of the Fbody websites. The instructions included photos with the exact location where you drill 1/2" to access the rivets. Without it it's a miss and hit... you might end up with a few holes in the door....
Buy the new motors from AutoZone, the Siemens motors are by far the best I've ever had. Keep the receipt and make copies, their ink fades after 2 years.... I return mine every two years because that's about how long they last... lifetime warranty is great.... they even let you change brand if they don't have yours available.
Do not buy the remanufactured stuff or the $20 Ebay motors - spend the $55 per motor and enjoy the lifetime replacement warranty.

I replaced my drivers side motor in Sep '07. It died the other day (Oct '08). Advance Auto Parts replaced it no questions asked.
---> Make a copy of your receipt - the register receipt fades over time. I taped my register receipt to the photocopy. Also, you'll probably need to do like I did: buy a replacement motor and then return the dead motor for a refund. I don't like doing car repairs in the parking lot of the auto parts store.I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

Re: window motors
Dammit, I think I misplaced my receipt. Better find that thing. I didn't get the Sieman's motor either, the Autozone by my house didn't have any and they gave me the Dorman one. Works better than my stock passenger side though so no complaints on my part.
I did mine in about the space of an afternoon, taking my time and moving slowly. Biggest pain in the *** was fitting the new motor back in and lining up all the holes. Other than that everything was pretty straight forward.
Here is the link to the guide on how to do all this.

Re: window motors
I've done the replacement twice now. For me, the hardest part was, on the first time, finding where all the screws were to remove the door panel. The shbox guide shows a Camaro door. Firebird guys - you just need to look for the screws.
There are four big screws holding the door panel in place:
One at the bottom, one under the forward part of arm rest, another under the middle of the arm rest (the screw points rearward) and the last one is behind the door handle trim plate that you have to remove first.I solemnly swear I am up to no good.
