the other night i floored my car, and the speedometer said i was going 50 but it seemed like i was going faster. after i let off the gas, the speedometer shot up to 60-70, stayed there for a second, then went back down to 50, and seemed to be functioning correctly after a little bit. this has never happened before, weird. and for anyone who saw my last thread about the car not moving til 2500 rpms that happened right after this. but neither has happened again since, but i havent tried flooring it yet. anything to be concerned about? and i will check my trans fluid today

ive had a sticky speedo before, it would stay at like 60 and when i decelerated it would jump 5 mph down at a time till i came to a stop and it was still catching up. maby the cable is catching its self in the sleave?

My car did that same thing with the speedometer one time. Think with all the eletroics it has power surges, or lack of power at times.
