Re: can u replace the starter solenoid w/o replacing starter?
I know on older cars you could just replace the solenoid, but on the newer I think you need the whole unit.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake
96' Camaro M5 to A4 conversion, alot of mods . GT35R Turbo full suspension. Built engine

Re: can u replace the starter solenoid w/o replacing starter?
Im sure you could find a way to replace one without the other, but it is sold at auto parts stores as a complete unit (solenoid&motor), so it would require some creativity. I also do not see how replacing any part with and equivalent part would cause problems with your remote start.

Re: can u replace the starter solenoid w/o replacing starter?
funny story.. i'm standing behind a older guy at the mom/pop shop. He asks for solenoid for his old hotrod. Kid behind the counter says he can order it... for 70 bucks or just sell him a whole starter for 60.
Anyone see something wrong with this??FirebirdV6.com/CamaroV6.com Administrator

Sounds different how? Are you getting any grinding or screeching? Starters do need to be shimmed, you know.<a href=\"http://www.fullthrottlev6.com\" target=\"_blank\">www.fullthrottlev6.com</a><br /><a href=\"http://www.chitownracing.com\" target=\"_blank\">www.chitownracing.com</a>
