Right headlight motor sounds like a dirtbike!

one night i turn off my lights and it sounded like a damn dirtbike under my hood.....lights still go up and down but does this mean the motor is heading south?

Welcome to the Firebird headlight motor club - Warranty / extended warranty covers it if you've got either.

I've bookmarked the page about for future referemce. My right one already failed. I'm sure I'll have another one fail some time after the extended warranty is up.

takes 20 minutes to take off ur headlight motor and open it up, if u do u'll see whats wrong, since ur headlight only makes a certain angle, only 180ºs of the sproket are worn, if u open it up u can rotate it, BAM FRee and fixed for another 5 years. or 2 in my case, once its all the way gone, u can rebuild it like I did, or u can buy that beefy metal never die one.
