  • High Speed Fan Powerdraw?

How many watts do the highspeed fans draw? Can an idling car handle the powerdrain okay?

well my volt meter is way above the center mark at idle with no fans, or A/C on....with them on it sits dead middle....besides it has to be able to handle it, if your sitting in traffic and your high speed fan turns on automatically, what else is it gonna do...it can handle it just fine....

i haven't really had a problem with mine draining the power.
Now, when it's running with the battery off at the dragstrip, it's a different story...
However, the high speed fan is SUPPOSED to come on when the coolent temperature reaches a certain point, or when the A/C is switched on with a certain temp point...lower speed up to that point for A/C...then high.
the car shoud idle without a problem
