        Have you checked the TPS?

For the misfire, replace your ICM and all 3 coils, along with new wires and spark plugs.

As for the gas mileage, I don't think there's much you can do. I used to get around 22MPG city on my old motor, but ever since the rebuild (new bearings, rings, 3 angle valve job, etc.) I am lucky to push 15 MPG city. I average about 14 MPG in town and 17 on the highway. It's simply that these cars were made for the V8, and they weigh a lot= the v6 must use more fuel to move the vehicle.

I replaced the TPS on mine because my throttle would stick in the open position. It would still get stuck even after cleaning it. When it was replaced, I didn't have the gas mileage problem.

Sorry I have to disagree there. I was easily pushing 23mpg before this problem started. There are guys here claiming upwards of 25mpg with their V6's

I get 26 on the highway and 20 around town. Have headers and 3 inch exhaust.

Lucky bastards:mad: . Maybe it's my o2 sensors, but wouldn't I have a SES light? The motor runs great with no problems, just terrible gas mileage. Oh well, it's not my DD.

The O2's can be " lazy" or slow with out causing a SES light. They have to be totalty out of range to cause a light.
