Bad Milage

Ok, ive been driving my car for about 2 months, and ive been getting shi tty a$$ gas mileage. when i first drove the car i got ~20mpg, and i thought that was pretty decent for the way i drive(im a crazy basterd). Well, over the past 3 tanks ive checked ive gotten 14.9, 15.1, and 15 mpg driving the same way. That is verrry bad for a 6cyl. Any thoughts on what i could do? Im thinkin the fuel pressure regulator. Also to start it i gotta cycle the fuel pump like 3 times, so it kinda sucks. any idea's?

If you read back a few posts, these things have been discussed. The hard starts have been attributed to dirty fuel filter, FPR's and like in my case, fuel pump. The poor gas mileage can be lack of tune up, bad 02's, blown gaskets, etc....

Check your spark plugs, coil pack, wires....tuneup. One of my Camaro's was getting pretty poor mileage. Turns out I was lied to when I bought it...I was told the spark plugs were changed --- they weren't.
Actually that happened to both of my Camaro's.......

Here's an idea.. Buy something with an LS1. I guarantee you'll get better gas mileage. I know it's CRAZY but trust me, LS1's get better mileage than a 3800.

I've noticed my LT1 gets better milage than my 3.4 did. so i believe ya, i know its crazy soundin but by looking @ things here lately the v8s were gettin better milage, of course it depends on the driver too.
