as far as alignment goes, go to a big shop like tirekingdom. for like 120 bucks i got unlimited, free alignments and rotations at tire kingdom for 1 year :P. so worth it man, I get my wheels rotated once every 2-3 weeks.. rotated and balanced once a month, and aligned about once a month :P
Thats over kill. I wonder if there even doing it, can you see them do it? Your getting your moneys worth but on the other side of the hat your wasting your own time having your wheels rotated every 3 weeks unless you drive 1000 miles a week.
A bad U joint or a bent drive shaft can cause this. A bent wheel or a tire going bad will also cause it.
Did this start when you put the drive shaft in? Or did it start awhile after?
First I would raise the back of the car with the E brake off and the trans in neutral check for play in the U joints. Also check for any dents in the drive shaft or marks where something has hit it.
another suggestion that dosent cost any money... try putting your old driveshaft back in to see if that changes anything.
get the alignment anyways. should be done at least every year.
it was a two piece and is now in car part heaven.... so i don't think so. To respond to some other responses:
yes it started right after the install of the d.s., however i had other problems going on at the time of the install (running lean, egr leaking, vacuum leak) it hasn't happened yet since i fixed the egr and vacuum leak and replaced the o2 sensor and the code stopped popping up but i didn't think running lean would make your car shake like that so i left that info out.
also, when i'm driving, if i let my hand off the steering wheel then it will automatically jerk right and steer me off the road , does that mean i need an alignment? (btw it only started doing that after goodyear installed my new tires and rims...)

yes that means you need an alignment. Any time you have your tires replaced you should defintley get an alignment. Your old tires were worn down so it didn't affect them but now you have fresh tires and there gripping better where it was worn down before so it'll pull you to the side. GET AN ALIGNMENT!!!!

they did an alignment!!! when they put on my new tires and rims
I give up trying to help you. You needed to put all the pertinent information in the first post. If the car started pulling AFTER the alignment, take it back, the potsmoking wrench jockey messed something up. Duh.

Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
