Just wondering if any of you guys had any ideas or maybe have had this problem before. My driver's side door will not open, just closed it and thats it. As far as I can tell everything seems ok, I took the panel off of the other door to see just how it worked. and I am fairly sure it is not the lock it just seems not to want too let go.
When you pull the door handle does it feel like it's locked or unlocked? That would indicate if the lock is still engaged or if there is something else preventing the door from opening.
It feels like it is unlocked, in fact if you have ever shut your door and it doesn't close all of the way but it latches thats what it feels like. Where it is not quite all the way closed but it will not open either. I tried pushing it back closed and it will do that but when you try to open it the same thing happens.
You're going to have to pop the door open with a slimjim to get that panel off. Use the other door as a guide so you know where to pull. Most likely, it's the rod that goes to your door lock. I had that problem in an older Camaro.

I had a 75 firebird with the same problem back in the day... the stud on the body that the door hooks to was the problem, sometimes it wouldn't close all the way and sometimes it wouldn't open... check that stud thing and see if it appears to be damaged and also does the door seem to be out of allingment. If you pull upwards on the door does it have any play in it..??
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
