      check your gas cap, my gas cap would get tight 1/5 inch early and it would leak gas so i got one of those lockable gas caps, havent smelt gas leaking since

        no, the evap canister is located behind the driver side rear wheel.

        current car- 95 Trans am- bolt ons, parked and collecting dust. why? because **** it

              haha thanx bro, i think u just solved my problem, because now that i think of it, when i unscrew my gas cap and it doesnt hiss(lettin off pressure), is usually when i've smelt gas, so guys, if you smell gas be sure that ur gas cap screws all the way in (2/3 complete turns) instead of goin on crooked and turned a quarter turn before gettin tight, check this before u spend money un-necessarily...
