ok well i know that i need to change my rear main seal and i'm changing everything in there while i'm at it. but here is my problem now

i'm driving to work and as i stop at a stop light i see smoke coming from the rear. i think ok it's just cold. but no, then it starts coming up from under the car. so smoke is just coming from every where.

could this just be that there is oil all over the underside of my car? i don't know and i'm going nuts. (does smell like oil)

omg i need to change my rear main seal fast. what does everyone think?

I used to get the same thing while sitting in traffic ... I had oil leaking from the rear of my oil pan and down the back of the block from the valve covers dripping right onto the y-pipe. A few gaskets and a 12pk later, and I was good.
