ok so i was doin my oil change and basic up keep of the engine, and since my engine has never been flushed, i decided to run some of that gunk remover through it before i changed the oil. i was supposed to put it in, and start the engine and let it run for 5 min. then drop the oil and do a normal oil change. everything was fine untill i went out later that night when i drove it(i didnt drive it again till that night) and my car was misfiring HORRIBLY. would that engine cleaner have fouled out a spark plug?

Re: why would this make my car misfire?
its not like that plug just hapened to get fouled up.. basically if that oil **** is coming anywhere like. near those plugs (close enough to touch them)... uhhhh
you have "REAL" problems
i mean i could be wrong and it may just be what 97rs4life says..
but there should be nothin but gas fumes and air in that little space being compressed..
did you take out the plug and check it out?WE CAN REBUILD IT, WE HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY

Re: why would this make my car misfire?
Ya, you probably just need to change the plug. Like 97RS4life said, you probably just freed up some carbon in your engine which ended up getting in and fouling the plug. Replace it and all should be good.~97 3.8L V6 Camaro~
