Hey guys, new noob here. :wavey: Well, been lurking a bit but finally posted and sadly its a problem.
I turned on my wipers today and heard a pop. I removed the cowling (which took about an hour thanks to the pass. wiper being a pain and sticking). and the linkage popped at the hinges. The driver side link and the main gear link were sitting on the bottom instead of attached to the passenger motor. I put them back on and try my wipers. I hear that same pop. I look underneath and the main motor linkage is off again. I watched it once and it just doesn't want to stay on.
I wedged my hand in there to make sure the link stuck and the wipers worked fine. Remove my hand and it pops off again.
Is there something besides just popping it on? A clip that holds it in place that vanished or something?
It's a 93 Firebird btw. The linkage is a pain to get to.
I'm considering gorilla gluing it and praying.
