Your heater core could be clogged.

            Re: heat

I'd check the heater core and if you there is antifreeze smell around then you need to replace the heater core. Does it blow any air and if so I'm guessing its cold air. If it doesn't blow any air then you have a whole other problem.

              Re: heat

someone could have bypassed the heater core also. another possibility is the seal on the firewall could have rotted away like many many other f-bodies. if that seal is gone it lets a bunch of outside air in the heater core box making it pretty much useless.

the heater core in mine (94 camaro) was actually very easy to change. you dont have to pull the dash. just the glove box, trim panel, and heater core cover. only hard part is snaking the hard lines through the firewall.
as far as that seal, well, i couldnt find one so i used expanding foam. trust me when i say it only takes a little.

id check to see if that seal is toast or if the heater core has been bypassed first.

                Re: heat

some models also have a heater contol device that is in line with the hoses under the hood. look for the hoses that run along the left side and into the firewall. i gotta look under mine, but im sure that there is this thing that controls something for the heat, or maybe you dont have it.
