  • Replaced oil pressure sensor, now oil pressure high??

so in the process of changing the crankshaft position sensor, i broke the oil pressure sensor.

bought a new one, and installed it, now the oil pressure reads about 110 on start up, and around 90-95 when the motors warmed up and idling.

did i over tighten it? or not tight enough? does the computer need to be reset? any help would be great, thanks!

well for me before i broke mine, my oil was at 50ish idle and 60-65 cruising.
I replaced mine about a month ago and it reads 80 idle and 90ish while cruising.

i was thinking that the old sensor was just old and wasnt reading correctly

yeah if the old sensor was bad......than it mite show u incorrect reading....so ur pressure should be right now.......accurate
