Alright... This started yesterday... I started my 94 Bird.. and it started idling at 1500rpm and never went down to normal. I have no clue what is causing this. With my Flows you can tell that this nowhere near normal. Very concerned that this may be something major. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Yes check throttle position sensor. My dads car (cadillac) his TPS got stuck and was reving around 1500-2000 at idle.

I fixed the problem....I don't know how, but I did.... I took my car out and ran it pretty hard, and when I got home it was idling normally. It seems that it was idling a little slower than usual. I'm still not sure what the problem is. I have a tune-up planned for this weekend. Does anyone know if this will hurt or help the situation?
Try cleaning your IAC (idle control valve) It sounds like it's getting stuck. A little carb cleaner will do. It should be stuck into the side of your throttle body( I'm not familiar with the 3.4) It has a spring with a pointed spindle that sits inside the TB.

That's good advice. I had the same problem with my bird. I changed the IAC and haven't had the prob. since.
The IAC is located on the pass. side of the TB it's a small black box sticking out of there, you can't miss it. It's held in by 2 torx screws.
Took me about 15 min. to change. I belive the part was $59.99 from pep boys.
If you need further info. shoot me an e-mail.

Hey everyone! I've been trying to remove my transmission for two days now! I need to replace the clutch. Only thing I've got left holding the transmission...
