  • Net or bruto ?

GM measured engine power NET (on th engine, without the accessories and agregates connected) till mid 70's if i'm not mistaken. Then they started measuring bruto power - what's on the wheels.

Is the 3.4L measured at 155hp Neto or Bruto ? Is this 155 RWHP ?

    Cheers

    Re: Net or bruto ?

all cars from the factory are flywheel hp, not wheel horsepower. so 3.4s are said to have 170 or whatever, that is flywheel. 3.8s are said to have 200hp that is flywheel power
