I broke my header bolts in half. i need to drill new threads now.

not sure if its called header bolts or not. but its the 2 bolts on each side that you unbolt
when you're unhooking your cat-converter and the rest of the exhaust.

so on my 98 firebird. i had my air gun set too high or the bolts were just old...
and snapped both bolts in half. i got the exhaust off.
but i have to put the exhaust back on.. and the 2 bolts that broke are stuck
in the part that screwed in. hard to explain.
so i need to grind the bolts off with those things u use to put a threaded hole onto something.
i dont know what they're called but i'm gonna borrow some.
it looks like a drill bit but has threads on it. so u can drill a hole with threads
and then screw a bolt into it. does anyone know what size i'll need?
i got the 2 extra bolts already. just gotta drill the new hole.

i have some of those. i dont think mine will come out though. they're gonna have to be drilled out and its gonna ruin the threads.

i think i might just drill 2 new holes.

If you drill them out you may be able to use nuts and bolts instead of trying to tap the new holes.
