  • Seat Belt Question

    The plastic cover on the metal male clip is cracked. It the plastic part that slides and locks the belt in place.It functions fine now, but my concern is that if there was an emergency situation where I had to brake hard, does this plastic piece play a vital role in the restraint system?

      no it does not play a vital role.
      the plastic is there solely for cosmitic reasions the belt itslef attaches to the metal male insert.
