hey there, i know this is a dumb question, but my brake light went out and i have a 97 camaro RS, i was wondering what kind of brake bulb model to get, because people said i need to get different types for some reason.

There is a part number on the bulb. Just take the old one in. it's generaly a 1156 or 3156.1996 Silver camaro Z28.
