not the fuse and i have no cruise control, ne suggestions of the problem?

could be a problem in the switch, could be a problem with the clutch pedal sensor, only two things I can think of...

yea i got the same problem. it will go into cruise control for like.. 10 seconds..then just turnoff..96 Camaro M5. typically the problem is in the steering column or the stalk itself. First thing is check to make sure you have good vaccum to the crusie control then it becomes an electrical issue. If you want to scan your codes go to autozone and ask to borrow the odb 2 code scanner and tell em you have a gm.-Brad

Have you replaced your rear end (i.e. change the gear ratio)? I just discovered the same problem today on my 99 while going on a road trip. I haven't checked the fuse yet, but I suspect it's fine.
Where do I check the vacuum, at the tranny, or at the motor? I'm not used to late-model v-6's just yet. [img]graemlins/naughty.gif[/img]

my car somtimes the crusie will work just fine and then going dow nthe highway it just stops so i push in the clutch turn the car off and restart it and then it works again

You reset the computer by shutting it off DUH! I had the same problem with my ABS light coming on.FTRA kit, Whisper Lid, free ram air mod, Richmond 3.73 gears, Dynomax Catback, Poly Tranny mount, Vette Wheels, Expensive Audio equipment :). i would have the cruise on and it shut off and stop working.... only way to do it was to restset it buy shutting off the carwww.turbov6camaro.com
