wiper motor problem! Funkz, anyone help!

My wipers go in the "up" position when i turn them off, so i took Funkz 's advice and ripped apart my cowle and now have the wiper motor stickin out, I have pics of the top of the wiper motor (the disk part that sometimes gets spinned around) but it looks to be OK. Maybe i am wrong, but take a look at the pics and see if u can help me out, i really wanna fix this. sorry but the pics are poor quality. I appreciate any knowledge on this problem!

anyone? i know the one tab is securely in place, but the other thing that needs to be in contact was about a quarter inch away, would that have caused my problems?

I can't see **** in those blurry *** pics but the switch needs to contact the tab to know where to stop. (shown in yellow on pic) If it's a quarter inch away then it's not making contact.

yeah sorry bout the pics. Ok, I moved the tab snug up against the stopper, now i just need to know what the best way to try the wipers and see if they will work properly without putting everything back together... any thoughts?

ok bad news..... i put the tab where it should go and it still went UP when it should have gone DOWN so i fooled with it more and now the tab doesn't stop at anything, it just goes the whole way around and then stops..... i'm lost here, would buying a new motor fix the prob??

if it turs out the motor is bad I have a used one and all the bars that go on it and the parts with the splines everything. PM me if it comes down to that. Good Luck

Look at the pic I posted. There should be a pressure-switch in that notched area under the bottom disc. I can't see that in your pics. Is yours broken?

i took the stupid motor out now.... i could get better pics if u want. when the thing is plugged in and i turn the wipers on it just spins around twice and then stops, but if i pull out the little stopper tab it catches on it before going all the way around, the problem is that that stupid little tab is moveable and it doesn't stay in the same spot to catch it every time. I think i'm gonna just buy a new motor now that i have it out and just screw it. :(
