ok i posted a question here a lil while back about a misfire prob i had. ok, so i went to the gm place to get the computer scanned, and its a fuel prob. where are all the vaccuum lines and such for my car (99 camaro). i need to know where everything is that has to do with fuel. everything else that could make my car misfire all checks out.
also, i have a fuel pressure gauge made by glowshift gauges and i need a fitting the sender. i believe the threads on the sender are 3/8. do i need to install it on the fuel rail? im also running nitrous, so how could i re-run my nitrous fuel line for that? i really dont want to cut my fuel line and put a T there.

For your misfire, I'd recommend a good injector cleaning, replacing your fuel filter, and checking your fuel pump's up to par. As for the gauge, you could just hook it right on the Shrader valve. If you want to run your nitrous from there, you can, just use a T fitting instead of just a 90* fitting.

for the tee, just put a tee off of the schrader valve on the passenger side. No need to cut your fuel line.

what was the actual code that was scanned?

What have you had checked out that was fine?

the wires are fine(msd), the coil packs is fine(msd), the plugs are brand new (ngk), the injectors are fine, brand new fuel filter about 8k miles ago. im thinking its my fuel pump because it doesnt misfire at all what so ever when the engine is still fairly cool in the morning time, i can run at full throttle and it runs perfectly.
im sorry, the threads on the sender are 1/8 not 3/8, where can i find the correct T? gots links?

          1/8? I believe that's the standard -4AN, isn't it? 97rs4Life may know, he'll chime in in a second.

yea take it to the hardware and get the elbow that you need for that then. Screw it right to the schrader valve. You will have to relieve fuel pressure first and remove the stem inside the valve then add your fitting and sensor sending unit

it will relieve some, what I do though is pull the fuel pump fuse and crank a few times to empty the lines. Works good.
