My cars been running extremely hot for the past few weeks so I checked my radiator and sure enough there was nothing in there. At the current time my heat was not working on my car and I had a SES code for an EVAP problem. So anyways I fill it up, and both the SES light turn off and my heat starts working. Why is that? Does it have anything to do with each other? The heat isn't real hot and sometimes fluctuates between cold and hot air so I know somethings still wrong with it. But I was surprised that the code was thrown and the heat worked a little bit at least...could this be a bad thermostat causing this problem?
Also, now I am hearing an annoying ticking sound under the hood... any ideas?
