  • Coolant leak at TC? Common?

    Howdy,

Just a quick question. The car is a '94 3.4L auto. It's got a coolant leak at what appears be to the timing cover. If I look at the upper heater hose leaving the pump (passenger side), then look into an alcove in the block just above that hose, I can see and hear coolant peeing (it's higher and deeper than the pump itself).

Is this a common place to spring a leak? Does it sound like the TC gasket is leaking and that's it?

Thanks for any and all ideas. :) I'm sorry to not have a picture for you guys. I know that would make it a ton easier to know what I'm talkin about.
