i've used the maf sensor off my 97 camaro 3.8 automatic on my 98 firebird 3.8 5-spd and it didnt work well
the reason for the MAF sensor from your automatic car didnt work out too well is that there are 2 different MAF sensors. there is one MAF for the manual cars and there is another for the auto's
and its a BLACK hose...and it bolts onto the radiator (has a gold nut on it).. then goes to the passenger side of the engine to a round silver/aliminum tube. maybe its for the a/c or something... its a 3.8.
Goes into the tank of the radiator on the passenger side.Sounds like the trans cooler and the fluid is just discolored. Does it have another one where it goes down the side of the motor?
Yes, the hose you are referring to does go to your A/C. I think that's the tube that goes to the condenser if I'm not mistaken. I would have to look at a picture of someone engine again, because it's been 3 years since I've had any A/C parts in my Firebird and about a year since I took my radiator out and all the hoses.
Not much going on, replaced my Kenwood double din stereo with a Pioneer double din, the Kenwood had problems. Then replaced my power inverter for my reverse...
