I'm going to install a 180* thermostat into my car. But first it would be good to know where it is at, so would someone please tell me? Also, will coolant spill out when I open up the area where the thermostat is? Thanks

Re: wheres the thermostat at?
By the way, before you do this.. If you're doing it just to lower you're running temp from eh 190 or 195.. whatever your current temp is.. Just know that I have a 180 in mine and this morning we had our first real bad frost in the morning. I don't know if you live in a cold *** winter climate but my 180 t-stat didn't have my windows defrosted by the time I got to work. I didn't think it would be that huge of a difference when I installed it from a 190 but damn. I'm gonna change it back to a 190 for the winter.

If your car is your daily driver and you live in an area that gets any snow, do NOT change to a lower temp thermostat. You will regret it!Doug
1996 Camaro RS M5 Y87
SLP Bilstein shocks, Eibach springs, 1LE frt/rear sway bars
