Changed my oil today and instead of using the Bosch 3331 filter I used a bigger filter Bosch 3430, its about 3 to 4 inches longer. For the people that use Bosch oil filters, I didn't know if anyone knew Bosch had a bigger oil filter, so I thought I would share.

k&n gold class also makes filters that are a few inches bigger but still fit, i know cuz they gave me the wrong filter one time and it cost a few bucks more, does a bigger oil filter help at all? -

The standard filter is a AC Delco PF47. The longer PF52 will also work, or any cross-reference PF52 filter will work.
I use a Mobil 1 M1-201 (PF52), which from all the studies I have read is the best.

Does anyone know if the PF52 or equivalent filter fits on a 3.4? I would think there would be room as its just an inch or two longer.Comment
