Alright I from what I understand the firebird and the camaro are very similar in there design and engine/tranny setup. I have a 95 3.4 camaro currently and I am wanting to upgrade to another firebird or camaro with the 3.8. I am going with the 3.8 because of expenses and they are proven to be very reliable for a college student like me. So I wanted to know what are the differences between the 3.8 camaro and 3.8 firebird?

I don't think theres too many differences in the engine, but there is a lot in the body.

well the trans am body style does, the v6/formula style looks like a chicks car though

Things i like about pontiac is the dash lights are orange, looks cool, flip-up headlights are a pain tho

Except that the Formula has ALWAYS been faster than a Trans Am, since it has the same engine and weighs LESS. Even back to the 70's.
