When I turn in a parking lot or something(usually at very slow speeds), i hear this whining like sound, is that my power steering or what???

I had a similar problem on my firebird and it was the bearings of the alternator going out. Check to see if it's charging right. -

you're a 2001 and probably still under warranty. Go there. I did when I had the same problem and they replaced my power steering pump because it was weak.Comment
