would i need to tune my comp if i change my stock 17 injectors with the 19 injectors from accel ?????? need info plz let me know......i wanna drop in the dry nos kit...

Yes. Your computer will think it still has 17s in, therefore stay open the same amount of time and dumping more fuel to cylinders. You will be running rich.'99 Mountaineer AWD 5.0 - 4300K HID, Some Bolt-ons

You can run 19 lb injectors on the stock tune no problem. You'll be a little rich on the open loop, but otherwise perfectly fine.Originally posted by BalleeComment

thanks.......i was thinking to drop in 19 lbs because im still running a bit lean...and i asked a friend of mine at the gm dealership......he said that 17 lbs are only good for 160 bhp.......stock motor when u modify it u will have to upgrade to 19 lbs....since i wanna drop in drykit....it would b better to do the injectors b4 dropping the nos kit...and like my friend, funks said the same thing that i mite run rich at open loop.....Last edited by Ballee; 11-26-2007, 08:40 PM.Comment

there is nothing in the ways of tuning, as far as for specific combos like heads/cam, power adders... that sorta stuff. there is a standard tune for mostly stock cars, trans shift points, gears, that sorta stuff.. by fastchips.. theres currently a thread open in the tuning section..Originally posted by IwannaCamarosoBad
