  • Jet chip please help!

I bought a chip from sombody on the message board and he has a 2000 m5 firebird. I was under the impression that the jet chip was supposed to be the power control module ie ( the little module with a wire that plugs into your pcm) The jet thing he sent me is called the jet programable pcm ie( looks like a long rectangular thing that has pins and plugs into the computer, no wires it has a little programming port for upgrading.) On the jet website when i go to the online catalog it shows the part # for my car to be 10020-s but it shows a pic of the power control module not the programable pcm. Here's the thing that gets me the programmable pcm has the correct part 9 although a little faded. so anybody who has a 2000 bird please let me know am i supposed to have the little mondule with the wire or the progammable pcm with no wires whatsoever.

    please help

That picture on their site threw me off too. Sounds like you got the right part, your going to want to insert the chip between your pcm and wiring harness.

If you've got any questions, shoot me an e-mail.

The picture on the website for mine is wrong too, don't worry about it. But the part number is right and it works.
