Is it pulling air into the throttle body? If so thats the problem. If you can't find a replacment of the broken part (doubtful) I think I have a few spare MAF's kicking around at work that I could sell you.

Well, it's at the bottom of the Maf sensor (the part inside the tb). I am going to fix it with superglue for now to see if that's the problem. I will be sure to shoot you a pm about the mafs if it turns out that the rest of the MAF is OK. Otherwise, I am going to go buy one at the auto parts store as I need my car tommorow.

Ok, update. I managed to get the car runnable. It turned out that the throttle blade was a bit misaligned, so it was letting in air at idle, leading to higher idle. Now I have a new problem!
The idle is a tad low (roughly 600-650 rpms). The car vibrates a bit, and there is also a lot of clicking. Above 1k rpms there are no problems. Any ideas?
