Ok so in the next couple months (by jan-feb) I'm going to have some money to spend.. and I wanted to do something to my car. I will have around $1200-1500 most likely.. probably lower though.
I can't really decide what to do..
My current mods (2002) are homemade ram-air, !silencer, 3.42's, E-cutout, and that's about it.
Here is what I had in mind.. Either I wanted to get a good amp/sub and fiberglass my own stealth box, and get some other random stuff, maybe a few appearance mods.
Or, get a cam. I have been researching alot, I would probably do a custom grind cam, but I probably wouldn't get to the point where I would have to upgrade the heads because that would send the price through the roof.. P&P would be an option though. From what I understand this will probably cost $800 easy.. depending on the components I pick of course but you know.. I would definitely install it myself with a friend or two, in either my schools shop, or my friends shop. I realize it would probably take 2 days to install too.. well comfortably.
I don't think I would have enough money to get anything forced induction.. and if I did I would want to go intercooled and do everything the right way. This would be way too expensive though.
HPtuners added on to either of those would be something I might get too, because I know alot of kids with camaros/TAs, and we could maybe split the cost.
