Well, I bought a new solenoid for it and I'm about to put it on so we'll see what happens. AutoZone tested it and said it looked like the solenoid was bad.

Ok, finally got the time last night to get the solenoid replaced and that appears to have been the problem. Thanks for the help. Now I just have to get the front clip back on, cooling system installed, new windshield installed, and do a full exhaust, lol.

Who makes the best headers for a 97 V6? Anyone have an suggestions there?

Not proven yet but supposed to be best hands down.
Now if you want to go for shorties which virtually everyone has sept a few that made custom long tubes or ordered those ones in that link up there.. You should get CIA.. Clear Image Automotive. Look at the stickies in the intake/exhaust threads. Personally, I'd get the new long tube headers. I mean, I would even order some now but I just got a turbo kit and long tubes won't work with it unless I fabbed up a lot. But for N/A go for the longtubes for sure!
