  • JET Speed Control Unit & JET Chips

I did a search for this Speed Control Unit and I only got one post back. The person asked a question about a SLP product like JET's S.C.U., and mentioned that he had a JET S.C.U. and said it didn't work. But no one replied to the post.

    My questions are:
Does the JET SCU remove the speed limiter and adjust the shift points, therefore increassing the rev limiter?

    If not...

Should I get a Jet performance chip also? And what is the difference between a Stage 1 and a Stage 2 (besides the $10 difference)?

    Lastly...

Why doesn't Hypertech make a Power Programer for the '99. I have sent them 3 emails about this situation and they have yet to reply. Next I'll be writing a letter, cause I realy want a programer for the '99.

I can answer your Stage I & Stage II question. (I) is primarly for stock set-ups, (II) is if you've got some mods, I believe Stage II are also supposed to be for off-road.
